If you want a moderately priced safari, we can accommodate you at one of the lodges located in the National Parks.  There are luxury lodges and less expensive lodges.   They are located in unique venues – sometimes built right into the rock kopjes, nearly hidden from view.  These lodges have large dining rooms and areas to relax by the fire, curl up on a sofa to read your guidebooks, be entertained by dance groups, or enjoy a cocktail looking out over the surrounding habitats.  The lodges we recommend for the moderate priced safaris are the TAHI lodges;  very clean but simple rooms, buffet meals that are varied and plentiful, accommodating a hundred or more visitors.   The price includes 3 meals a day, but does not include beverages.
