Zanzibar Holiday Itinerary
Day One: Leave Arusha for Zanzibar with Precision Air and arrive in time for settling into your hotel room in Old Stone Town or one of the Beach Resorts.
Day Two: In the morning, a historical and cultural tour of Stone Town including the Old Slave Market, the national Museum, the House of Wonders, and the beautiful architecture of the city. The afternoon can include a journey into nearby villages for the famous Spice Tour.
Beach accommodations in Ras Nungwi, Zanzibar.
PIVP ServicesDay Three: A morning boat ride out to Prison Island - the home of the giant sea tortoises and a morning of swimming and snorkeling. After lunch, travel to the eastern side of Zanzibar (Jambiani) and visit what many consider to be the most beautiful beaches in Africa. We will stop in the Jozani Forest for a walk and chance to see the endemic Red Colobus monkeys. Accommodation can be at Sau Inn, a secluded hotel with endless beaches for walking and the Indian Ocean for swimming (snorkeling and fishing can be arranged at the hotel with local dhows).
Day Four: Another day of relaxing on the eastern beaches with sunbathing and dinner at the famous Jambi Seafood Restaurant.
Day Five: A morning shopping spree in Old Stone Town, and then a flight from Zanzibar to Arusha in plenty of time for your flight home; or we can accommodate you at the Impala Hotel, Arusha.
